First, be sure you are working in Print Layout View -- look at the bottom left of the window - you will see a set of buttons each of which will give you a different view of your document.

"Normal" view will show you a dotted line so you can see page breaks.

"Print Layout" view will not. However, if you work in Print Layout view and click the "Print Preview" button on the Standard toolbar, you can see your document one page at a time in 100%, or 25% will show you 8 pages at a time, etc. Experiment with these buttons.

It might also be that you clicked the show/hide button on the Standard toolbar. This button looks like a backward P and allows you to see paragraph markers and page breaks. It is a toggle -- press on - press off.
