CD for a computer pictures, music, ect...
I have one I made but did not put read only, and it is now I can't change it and my computer can't delete it
it tells me to retry.

A blank WHAT? DVD? CD? The answer is no to both of those. You would need a CDRW or DVDRW that can be rewritten, but the storage method has nothing to do with magnetics. Now, you can write and rewrite a hard drive as much as you want. Why don't you ask your question again with some detail.

If you go way way way way back to FDD then yes.. but Cd's and DVDs no

But as you didn't specify what type of blank, then gen rally speaking, the answer is yes as there is some things that you can.
