the term old school doesn't even begin to describe that computer.

You're 2286 has an old 333mhz chip and if it wasn't upgraded all of 32megs of ram.

honestly, if you're not running any pc games or doing any heavy video encoding you can grab any bottem of the line budget system from dell or anyone else and you'll be much better off. Usually, dell has some entry level pc for around $400 bucks or so. That's your best bet

You have to be hooked up to a Internet provider like Telus through your phone line or a cable like Shaw cable. Have to have a Internet provider for your computer to work! Some providers give you the modum as part of the package! Hope this helps you.
