The best solution to your problem right now is to reformat the hard drive by reinstalling the OS ( Operating system).

After you have finished reinstalling the OS, your computer will remain new as when you first bought it. All viruses will be gone, everything on ypour computer will be completely gone...

McAfee is a very good Anti Virus software Company, and I recommend it over Norton any-day. Remember to install an Anti Virus software protection on your computer after you reinstalled the OS, and make sure you are a subscriber to one of the most powerful Anti Virsus Vendors because free Anti Virus softwares don't always ensure complete protection.

You may also want to restrict yourself from visiting porn sites, download free softwares, etc, to protect your computer data next time...

Note that you MUST have the OS CD to reinstall the operating system. Follow on screen illustration carefully and you should be ok... You have a great day.

probably you will need to get a new hard drive or reformat the drive. if you get a new drive, it will cost you to buy the operating system, so you might as well buy that first and see if you can reformat. if that doesn't work then get the new hard drive. I don't know anything about this virus but when had had viruses before, I hooked it up as secondary on another computer and transferred my important files before formatting. I never seen a virus jump drives because the system files on a secondary are not active. if your not worried about any files just reformat and install the new OP. also, there may be options during installation to save current file system. your important files can be saved. but options while installing is like those phone calls with a many options. you can always try it first. if it doesn't work you will still have options before spending money on a hard drive. AND CHANGE TO NORTON

I am a die hard Norton user, sorry to hear that you are using McAfee's. You can try going to "www.trendmicro.com" and do a free virus scan from there system and if it works then update you virus protection or get a different one. If it don't work.....well lets just say that it is a long process and I don't remember all of the steps. you might want to got to nerdsquad.com

You might have to re format the drive which will erase everything including the virus.

Have you tried rebooting in safe mode, and then run the virus scan?? If not, restart your computer, and hit f8, and then choose safe mode. Then run your virus scan. Hopefully your virus scan is up to date, and depending on if the virus is a newer version, there might not be a fix for it yet.
