I am using DVDFab platinum to copy and then burn my dvd's. I went through the copy process then it said please insert a writable disc. I inserted a Verbatim DVDRW disc and then the program said ERROR please insert a Dual layer Disc. I thought Dual layer DVD drives could write to anything Single or Dual. Does anyone know what I need to do?

Dual layer DVD drives can write it all, but only on the proper media. It cannot write dual layer to single a single layer DVD. It can write dual layer to a dual layer DVD but not single. Regardless of what kind of drive you have, if the writable DVD is single layer, you can only write single layer to it. So assuming that the disk you're using is single layer, the solution would be to buy some dual layer disks. There are ways to compress the movie to fit on the single layer disk here is a program that will do it http://www.dvdshrink.org/what.html
Other than that, you will need to use dual layer writable disks.
