I was looking to view this movie and the file type was avi and I have windows media player but when i tried to play the video it didnt work, it seems as though it was playing but there was no picture. Ive had this problem before with these types avi, so i was wondering what you have to do to view an avi video?

Could you tell me if you work or not, and what breaks you have etc. Also, have you got a family to look after or are you a couple etc. I work 4 hours in the morning, then am on the Internet/Ebay etc till about midnight. Stopping for lucnh/dinner/supper/chores etc. My children are grown up and have flew the nest, so its just me and my partner. We still have discussions etc, i'm not stuck on here and ignoring my hubby or anything like that. I'm just curious how/what other people do.

I'm trying to burn an album but instead of being able to add the whole album at once on a folder it's making me click on each song file which is a lot more lengthy and prone to mistakes. How can I get around this? I've burnt from folders before but can't seem to get it done now.

I backed up some files from my computer in a zip file (a little over 1GB) onto a disc. Then, we dumped the computer and reloaded everything. But on the disc, it is showing as a .nba file, and says it cannot be opened. This file is also about 1GB, so WHAT happened to my zip file? And can I convert it, or are these files lost forever? help, i need these!

I put the CD in and nothing shows up. I went to the D:/ itself and it comes up with a "Not accessible- Incorrect Function". My family just sent me this CD with pictures on it...anyone know whats wrong?

I've done it b4 but forget how I did it..... How do I delete past restore points that I dont need any longer. It said something to the effect ( remove all restore points prior to the most recent)

I have 2 Meg Broadband via a BT ADSL line. Currently using USB wired modem and acheiving 2 meg. Looking to go WiFi so I can use my laptop in any room and also connect to the family main desktop. I am looking at a wireless router which says it is 54 mbps maximum (whatever that means). If I change from wired to WiFi, will I get the same upload/download speed from my WiFi or will it slow my operation down?
I use my wired modem for streaming webcam, VOIP and podcasting and also for downloading streamed video & audio (internet TV & Radio). Will I be able to do this with WiFi as I can with wired? Is WiFi capable of routing 2 meg or higher Broadband without losses or slowdowns? House has 2 computers but only 1 will be used at any one time.

Ok, I've gone into the C:\Docs&Settings\"username" to look for my cookies. And the folder isn't there. I go to DOS and I type in "cd cookies", I can see them. I do, "cd.." (to go back) then I type in, "cd dir", then the folder isn't there, the one I was just in. I thought I was smart doing this, but I copied the folder in Windows/Temp that was also "Cookies" but the same thing happens.

I can't visit certain websites because it says that I need to have my cookies enabled. I go to internet options and they are.

One thing, I do have Ace Utilites (cleans registry, deletes old temp files, and cleans broken short cuts) and I think that's the reason why.

Can somebody please help me?
