I put the CD in and nothing shows up. I went to the D:/ itself and it comes up with a "Not accessible- Incorrect Function". My family just sent me this CD with pictures on it...anyone know whats wrong?

If you are lookin at the right drive in my computer and it says not accessible, the CD was burned in a format your drive doesnt understand or its a DVD disk.

Either your Laptop does not have the program that opens the cd pictures for viewing, or the CD itself went bad. Which is probably the cause of the "Not accessible-Incorrect Function" Flag Message. Have you Fam Re burn the CD or E-mail your pic's to you, then you can burn them in to your own CD's.Hope this helps Will.

Open Windows Explorer and go to the correct drive letter for the cd drive. Check to see if it lists any files. If yes, then double-click on a file to see if you can view it. If not, then try using the cd in your dvd player attached to your tv.

It's most likely a corrupt disk. See if it works on a friend's PC. If it does, then it's your PC. If it doesn't then it's the disk. You might want to ask your family/friend to send you a new copy or send the pictures through e-mail.
