Could you tell me if you work or not, and what breaks you have etc. Also, have you got a family to look after or are you a couple etc. I work 4 hours in the morning, then am on the Internet/Ebay etc till about midnight. Stopping for lucnh/dinner/supper/chores etc. My children are grown up and have flew the nest, so its just me and my partner. We still have discussions etc, i'm not stuck on here and ignoring my hubby or anything like that. I'm just curious how/what other people do.

My hubbys computer is right next to mine, so we are not 'seperated', he uses his and i use mine. We both 'socialise' together still, even though we are on the computer.

i'm usually online for an hour in the morning, but them i'm too busy through the day to use the computer, so i have to wait til my little boy has gone to bed - then i go back on the computer from about 8pm til about midnight. i'm a total internet addict, i love talking to people online, and i always manage to lose track of the time !

Some days I don't turn the PC on, but other days I do, and spend several hours online or editing pictures. I just moved to a new country and am waiting for clearance to work, so I spend my days doing chores, listening to music, reading, or visiting with my family and friends back in the US via yahoo. I spend the majority of my computer time editing and arranging the thousands of pictures we have taken since we married. Almost done though:D. If I log on, I usually stay online for 3-5 hours, sometimes more, usually until my husband comes home. It makes the lonely hours pass swiftly. We are newly married, so no kids to care for yet. Once hubby is home we only use the net to look up recipes and do things together; time together is too precious to waste playing alone on the computer.

Theres me and my teenage son and he got me hooked on this thing! We share one pc, luckily he's at college all day so we manage. Its on all day most days.
At the moment I'm not working full time so spend way too much time on here while I'm doing other stuff on the internet with 2 browser windows open.
The pc gives us a shared interest. Not only that but its allowed my lad to see me as 'not just Mum' because I know stuff he doesn't so we learn from each other. I'm learning to write web pages and Photoshop. Plus its usually me that has to run the securtity software and deal with anything it finds and I'm teaching him how to do it all.
I don't think theres anything unhealthy about what you're doing. It would be terrible if you no longer had anything to talk about and just sat staring at the tv all evening!

I spend about 13 hours a day on the computer, cumulatively. That means there are breaks for meals, commuting, and the occasional face-to-face meeting. Sometimes, if I'm lucky, I can also use my computer while I'm commuting.

I'm a college student. So each day differs. some days are full time college and no computer. others are half and half ish. as i have a hubby and two kids, its college, kids, hubby, housework, cooking, shopping then computer. My god i hadn't realised i done so much. But i limit my time on here, 2hrs max. it can get very addictive.

I am on it off and on all day. Retired, kids grown and gone. I wish you would give best answer to the Mom who gets on when kids are gone or in bed! That is one heck of a good Mom!
