Everytime i startup my pc, it comes up alot of boxes like the command prompt,eg, C:\WINDOWS\system32\DLH9JK~3.EXE.

What is going on? I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del, it shows me "Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator".

I also found out kernals88.exe is running on my pc. Is this a trojan/virus? And how to kill the process without accesing the task manager?

How to solve this problem without formatting????

I know how to play it on my computer but I can't seem to add it to a video editing program. whenever i try to add the video to program its as if the video doesnt exist.

it runs in a windows xp os. when i start the comp. it will promt in a dos mode with options to start windows normally or safe mode with a countdown but as the coundown finish and the windows xp logo appear it will restart again with the same process.

I know that they're backed up on my computer in a file, but they're encrypted so I can't figure out what they are. I have absolutely no idea why they disappeared in the first place, but does anyone know how to get them back? I honestly need them to survive, because I was an IDIOT for not writing them down on paper in the first place. e_e If anyone can be of any help AT ALL, please don't hesitate to respond. I have quite a few songs on windows media player, and for the first couple times I added songs it worked fine, now when I add I got to Now playing list and go to to Edit Playlist and open mine up, I drag the songs to the existing list, then I close out and I click yes to SAVE but when I go back there not there, whats the problem?

There are a couple of subjects on which I would like to start a group.
But looking around there is an almighty graveyard of sad abandoned little groups often with only one member.
The other extreme is groups with a fair few members with posts heading in bewilderlng directions - surely offputting to new potential "converts".
Am I wasting my time starting one or should I be looking at newer ideas like a blog?

i was given a compact persario computer from a lady on free cycle.its in like new condition.but when i boot it up it has her daughters name and asks for a password.i called her back and her daughter dont remember her password,she said she would look for the start up disk but i never heard from her again.guess she couldnt find it.so is there a way i could still use the computer without knowing the password?she gave me a new printer,cd burner and all kinds of x-tras with it,and i gave it to my daughter for x-mas and she loved it ,but now she cant use it.and with x-mas so close theres no money left to spend a couple hundred dollars for a new operating system.its got windows xp on it.is there a way to hack around it?it would be worth spending the money on but dont have the x-tra cash right now.anyone who could tell me how to do it would get a best answer and the gratitude of myself,and my daughter.thanks.

I start up my computer and if gives me the options of safe mode and all that and when I do, it boots up and takes me to some blue screen with writing that says I installed something improperly...I dont know where to go from there. I just wanna access my computer so I can actually take that software off but it won't let me.

I used to be able to change the color of the active tab in firefox by putting code into my userChrome.css file. I have a new computer now and for some reason I can't seem to change the tab color. I have tried every code I can find on the net (most are the same) but they are not working. I am using version 1.5.0.8 I have restarted firefox each time I have tried the code. I have also tried restarting my computer, but with no luck. What am I doing wrong? Why is this not working?
