if i dont click on temp disable add ons it will lock the whole computer up, and have to restart. is there any other way i can fix this without bringing the computer in? my windows live one care said i needed to download it for anti phishing....now its a pain in the butt please help..can i go back to an older version? it was working fine then...

I don't want this to come up before my homepage, I want to be able to open it with add-ons enabled. When I go to "Manage Add-Ons" it says they are all enabled. How do I stop this "with disabled" coming up first every time?

Every time I start up my computer, the following appears in a box: csinsmnt.exe Unable to locate component. X this application has failed to start because APITRAP.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I have no idea what this means as I am not computer savvy.

I had purchased a Personal Computer from M/s KEVIN COMPUTER AT MALAD B/7 IRANI COLONY MALAD (EAST) MUMBAI 400 097 ON 23RD MARCH 2006 with terms & condition that 1st year maintenance will be done promptly for any problem. Along with the Parts Warranty according to Multinational company warranty system. But after just 2 months of purchase it started giving trouble. I had approached M/s KEVIN COMP number of time but the response was very slow. On 15th AUGUST 2006 my computer totally shutdown. On request from M/s Kevin Comp I took the CPU to his shop on 22nd AUGUST 2006 for rectifying the problem immediately. But we were informed that it will take 8 to 10 days as there is major problem (which was highly impossible because at the time of assembly we had told him to use the best parts for which he is been paid full amount) After continues follow up it Diwali we could not get back my unit. M/s KEVIN COMP request for more 15 days . After that I was Ill for long time A part of that I had follow

there are a few problems with it, when i power the computer up nothing appears on the screen, i have put my speakers on and no sound comes out of them (windows loading tune), when you press the on switch to switch it off it doesnt switch off.
Does this mean it has died, PLZ HELP.

When I bought this computer in March, geek squad for 29 dollars tweaked my computer to make it run faster and what not. I had to reformat my drive about 2 weeks ago and now my computer is running really slow. The geek squad guy said that the settings were erased when I formated my computer. What exactly did they do to my computer to make it run faster and how can I do it without having to pay again?

I am learning Hebrew, Greek and Latin. All through books & on the internet but I only write on paper. Is there a way to type on my computer in these languages & print it out? Or type in English then have the computer translate it to another language? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

I need some sort of database that i can keep a good record of all of my books and movies, that is also searchable (is that a word?). So that I could put in an actors name and see all the movies i have that that person stars in that i own. Or i could put in a book series and see all the ones i have of that series. Is there a place i could get something like that for little or nothing?
