I don't think it is the ISP because it is comcast and always very fast. I think it is a memory problem with the computer itself. I don't have any other apps running except Explorer but when I download a page I can hear the hard drive caching like the computer has run out of RAM which is severely slowing download times. This shouldn't be happening if there are no other programs running right? And I'm not downloading pages with a lot of content either. It took a long time to load the default Google search page which has next to nothing on it. Any suggestions? It's a newer Dell computer too. Thanks.

I deleted windows xp from my computer, but when I try to reboot with the CD, the windows login opens up, but I cannot use the mouse or keyboard to enter my windows login password. (Neither is functioning) Any suggestions how I can get the keyboard and mouse to work again? I do not have software for either device.

When i go on it on this computer it doesnt show the little video box and says "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player. " but first of all how do i make sure that i dont have javascript turned off? And if its not that then how can i download the flashplayer cuz when i click on the link to install it nothing happens.

When I try to move the mouse, it goes very slow, then all of a sudden it catches up. When I type the letters do not appear, but all of a sudden, they all show up.

I defragged the system, ran antivirus, downloaded System Mechanic 7, everything checked out with no problem. But this is still lagging. Last time I had this clearing out the temp internet files and defragging was enough. Not enough now. Best answer to whomever fixes it :)

an explainatin mark comes up on the bottom of the screen you click on it it say....Trojan-spywin-32@mx spyware program that sends confidential info to a remote attacker...if you click on it for more info and some kind of like pest remove or something thing else like that comes up on can i get this off his computer? this not the first time he has done this i usually have to take the computer in to be cleaned up any suggestion plese i can't afford to take it to the shop..thanks oh he has norton on there and avg
