To turn on Java script: Open IE, tools, internet options, advanced and scroll down the list until you see Java (sun) (picture of a coffe cup) and put a check mark in the box. The Java script option is sandwiched between use HTTP 1.1 and Microsoft VM. If it's not there you need to donwload Java here : https://sdlc6d.sun.com/ECom/EComActionServlet;jsessionid=B6935B07EB177569B93ABF2D151F9B8C
and install it. Don't click on the link when IE said to get the newest Flash player, just go to this website http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash ---download the app to your desktop and double click on it to install.

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced. About 1/2 way down it has the java options.

You can get the flash player from www.adobe.com.
