How old is the computer?
What OS is it running?

Try to boot into safe mode by repeatedly tapping F8. If you are running XP, then you should now see an administrator icon. Click on it and you are in! Trying to hack the password would not be worth it unless you really need to get into it. Just format the HD and reinstall. Simple.

Good luck!

There are 2 classes you should attempt -a million. Offline NT Password & Registry Editor 2. INUIT ERD Commander 2005 you'll favor to receive onto disk from yet another internet correct pc -try LimeWire or do a glance for in Google etc(I were given mine on disk from a pal) think ofyou've got to bypass into the BIOS and adjust the order of boot-as a lot as CD/ROM stress 1st.Then boot the computer with the disk in and follow the step with techniques from step training - that is slightly fiddly and ought to take a even as even though it worked for me. good luck!

Make a startup disk from Windows ME then run fdisk on the HDD, this will completely wipe it and reset it to factory defaults then reload whichever OS you wish to use, you'll find it works then. how to run Fdisk:

when the machine has booted from the floppy drive on the screen you will see A:
at this time type in Fdisk or Fdisc
a screen will open up with various commands listed from 1 to 4
no.1 is "delete the primary partition"
do this and then proceed to step 3
no.3 "create a primary partition"
follow the onscreen instructions and hey presto it'll all be working again. good luck.

I would return it to the person you stole it from. Ok if it is really yours there are programs out there to crack the password. Look for it on google. If you can't figure that out send the computer to me! If all hope is lost then reload windows or put Linux on it and you can start fresh.

Restart the computer and when the screen goes black press F10 until the computer beeps. System Restore will load and then you can go under Advanced Options and do a Destructive Recovery. Note: If you are planning to sell your computer please do this before selling. It will save the person who buys it a lot of trouble. God Bless.

You can reformat the hardrive if the password is in window. For a bios password you'll need to find the manual for the pc.

you will have to locate him and get the password from him, or if you obtained the device, of some other means, unless you do this the computer is worthless, to you if you can,t access it, which it,s a good chance that the computer was not his to give to you, think about it, if he does, have the password to the device, then it is of no help to you.

Do you mean a bios password? Or the Windows password?

Both can be addressed... but we have to know which one you're talking about.

Sounds like you stole it and should be prosecuted. If you got it from the previous owner legally then just ask him for it dumb dumb
