how do i record anything from the tv to my computer?

what kind of computer do you have? what is the operating system of that computer? do you have the tv hooked up to the computer that would allow that capability? You really offer no clues to the rest of us.

well you need to get an internal or external AV tuner card for it. GO for the one by Pinnacle as it gives you a remote as well as the recording options that you are looking for you can set it to record your fav. tv show at certain time & it'll do it. its some 80 USD in india dont know whats it gonna cost you there.
