what will you do when you dont need a cd and want to throw it away?

If you have a vegie garden you can hang them up in it. The reflection from the sun scares away the birds. You can make a hanging mobile out of it too. Maybe do something crafty with it, that way you recycle and save the environment :) That is if you like that sort of thing. Other than that, just throw it in the rubbish bin.

HI dear; well throwing away a CD seems very funny.anyway if a cd is no more useable recycle it by throwing it in the public residue collection point.I think there is no other way to throw off a FAULTY CD. with regards =Adil=

In the case that they contain any personal information (name, address, SSN, credit card info, etc..) I simply snap them in half and throw them away.

It is virtually impossible to recover data for a CD/DVD that has been broken to this extent.

either heat it up til it melts and make a nifty sculpture, or use one of those new shredders that totally destroy cd's

either throw them away, recycle them, or use it for target practice with a bb gun.
