Just keep on being firm & persistant. Its all you can do to keep the pressure on. If you go too far they'll ignore you but if you are too easy-going they'll take advantage of you.

Next time buy a pre-assembled name brand computer like Dell. The ones assembled part by part by small shops are not worth the aggravation.

Good-Luck

Revenge like viruses or egging his car or whatever are illegal. You couldn’t let him know it was you that did it either because you would be held responsible for any damages you inflict - there might be criminal charges as well. You are not teaching him any lessons if he doesn’t know why these things were happening. Revenge probably isn’t the best answer.
HOWEVER, there is nothing wrong with talking about your experience, so tell EVERYONE you know! Call the Better Business Bureau - they keep track of complaints.
Another option is going to small claims court. If you have his guarantee in writing you might be able to get your money back and give him back the worthless computer.

First know his email address.
Then send a virus in it.
