You file a non paying bidder report and after 10 days you file for a refund of your listing and final value fees. If you were stupid enough to send the item before you received the money then you are SOL, you can get the eBay fees refunded but good luck getting the item and the shipping cost back.

As a Ebay buyer and seller You pay before it is even shipped to you. I know I don't ship until the item is payed for and you generally have between 3-7 days to pay for the item depending on the sellers rules that should be at the bottom of the item page. Also if you don't pay expect a bad feedback and possible non payment action taken by ebay. Also you may be required to pay for the item to be relisted.

Normally, to prevent that from happening, the seller wouldn't (or shouldn't) ship the item until payment has been received.

If it does happen the seller can report the person to eBay, if eBay chooses to investigate the matter, they may end up freezing the buyers account, but I don't think there's any way they can actually make the person pay. Which is why it's best to ship the item after payment.

A seller will not mail out an item until the buyer has paid for it. A buyers bid is a legal contract to purchase the item. If the buyer doesn't pay for an auction they have won the seller should file a compaint with ebay, leave negative feedback for the buyer, and have the buyer blocked from further bidding. In some cases sellers have been able to take the bidder to court for not paying.

A lesson to learn: Don't send the item UNTIL they pay. That's how most sellers do it.

A collection Agency will show up at your house to collect the money if you dont pay they will take the item back. If you dont give it back they will take it back hopefully you wont see these guys.

usually on e-bay the seller won't ship until payment is received. if payment isn't received they will more than likely put a strike against your account and you will get negative feedback..
