I know that they're backed up on my computer in a file, but they're encrypted so I can't figure out what they are. I have absolutely no idea why they disappeared in the first place, but does anyone know how to get them back? I honestly need them to survive, because I was an IDIOT for not writing them down on paper in the first place. e_e If anyone can be of any help AT ALL, please don't hesitate to respond. I'd be forever thankful.<3

Not the answer you are looking for but this is a tip -- go to www.shortkeys.com, d/l the free lite version - list your passwords on that when you get them back, then when you need to use them its a simple matter of hitting just a couple of keys to insert pw where u want - for instance if your pw for yahoo games was something like yahoogamespwaredifficult to crackiftheyarelong then your shortkey could be say >>> yg01 and it will fill in the complete pw - a bonus is that keyloggers cant log your keystrokes then (back them up on CD too ;) ) -- gl

I am afraid that you can’t. Firefox is very secure, if you lost them, you will never get them back.
Open option-privacy, dissect "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox".
