If you are using Window XP, probably you could just go to "Internat Options", "Privacy", then click on "Block pop-up".

deploy use and replace a) virus scanning b) a firewall and c) Anti-undercover agent ware software on your pc. receive, deploy and use Firefox (you could google search for for Firefox). Firefox has popup blockading equipped in, yet as well a thanks to position in addins and deploy the Adblock Plus icon. final analysis: you've blundered heedlessly into the internet quagmire of the internet. Now you're stuck and also you actually have your self responsible. do no longer attempt to protect your self with lack of understanding. do a touch study and locate out what you're doing before you mess each thing up. Oh expensive, too overdue.

Download some toolbars/add-ons for your browser, like Yahoo or Google toolbar. Or get a complete antivirus, not a trial/demo version.

use popup blocker and itllte block em all............................................................................................................................. BUT some gaming(runescape),chat, and email have popups that are necasary to use a site or program....................................... so best thing to do is get the popup bloker and go to the sites and when it says popup blocked at the top of your screen right underneath your adress or google bar. then click on the popup blocker button and it will instantly alow temparary popups but click again and it will always allow popups only made by that site and no others.
