Trying to format my main drive(c:) through command prompt. Gives the following error: Format cannot run because the volume is in use by another process.Format may run if this volume is dismounted first.ALL OPEN HANDLES TO THIS VOLUME WOULD THEN BE INVALID.Would you like to force a dismount to this volume(y/n). I choose y and it gives me the following message:Cannot lock the drive. The volume is still in use.
Can anyone help me as I’m trying to install an older version of xp onto my drive than I currently have.(One without sp2 which I will then download). Thanks Noel.

M a frequent msn user.Of late i happened to get a problem with my windows live messenger(8.1 beta).It signs in but as soon as it does,window freezes and messenger gets closed automatically? Wat could b the reason & wat could i do to get over the problem..Ive tried deletting messenger and re-installing yet the problem exists..

i am looking for freeware to capture/record webcam chats off of yahoo messenger with sound would be best but not needed i dowloaded one but it only allowed me ten minutes and that was it i couldn't delete the ten minutes or record anything more from one the one person so great freeware is needed please help

My brother just bought a new lap top and it was his first time using it. So he doesn't really know how it works. Tha features is all good, except he found that the volume is too soft eventhough it is in full volume. I try to fix it by using the command prompt in the laptop, where we can extend the volume. But at the end of the prompt, it stated there that we have to fill in the extend size in megabyte. I don't know the minimum or maximum of the extend size and simply fill in any number, but none of them exist. What should I do? Or are there any other way that can help to boost up the volume capasity?

We are going to setup a GSM module/device for alarming in critical issues and situations in our windows based server. So, we need a GSM module which will send SMS of filtered event/data form our servers to system administrator or a group of employees. It will be totally auto generated, might be able to send different labels of group of employees.
