My pc keeps rebooting when my online game is opening. The game is a multiplayer game. It dosen't reboot everytime, but enough to be frustrating. Any way I can correct this?

Sounds like a virus, try and remove the game if possible and reboot, if problem continues you will need to scan your hard drive for viruses.

This happened to me a few times and is a real pain, I had to reformat my hard drive to finally sort the problem but it may just be a simple virus so hope you don't have to that !

Also check your memory ram, could be your pc is struggling to cope with the game if other programs are running.

First, try to turn off auto rebooting.
To do this, right click on "My Computer" and choose Settings. On the "Advanced" Tab, there are three sections. One is called "Start and restore" (or something similar, as I'm using a German Windows XP).

Press the Button "Settings."
Near the bottom of the next window is an option to "Automatically Reboot" after a System Error.
Uncheck this option.

Now your PC should show a blue screen, if it crashes.

Try to search Google or Yahoo for the error message on this bluescreen.

If this doesn't help, ask again with the error message.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
