Hey i need to reset or reboot my dell laptop inspiron 1200! How do i do it? meaning how do i erase everything and start from scratch. I called dell before and had to pay 100 bucks for them to tell me how to do it. something like holding down ctrl and f8 while restarting the laptop, but i cant remember.

Would you purchase a computer from a decent size cyber cafe over a big company like Dell or HP if the store gave you free gaming hours? By the way, the price of the compouter is the same. Also, the cyber cafe will call you every month to see how your computer is doing.

it would need to be freeware and output lists of files and directories into a text document. I've tried DirPrinting, but unforunately, it also outputs the file size and modified date - which is too messy for me and cannot be disabled. Anyone know of any hacks/tweaks? have any ideas?

I accidentally downloaded and installed a Spyware on my computer. I know that spywares couldn't be cleaned or removed easily, so what I did was I renamed the file extensions of those programs & files into .jpg & I successfully deleted it. It doesn't do anything to my computer now, I think.

Now, what I did again was I just discovered Adware Away, installed it, & repaired & cleaned some malicious files as stated by the program. After that, I uninstalled it because my computer restarts when I activate something in it. After that, I was just running Disk Cleanup & it suddenly restarted. And while restarting it restarted again. I also found out that my computer restarts, or sometimes just dies out, when my computer usage gets high.
