it should work just be sure your motherboard can handle that amount (most newer computers can handle 4-8gb) just be sure and there should be no issues

Maybe...if the MoBo Will handle 2gb RAM...you may need to flash BIOS....

it's ok to swap out on 1G ram in same speace. you motherboard is support it.
