I had to reload windows, deleting everything on my computer & restoring it. I have an emachines pc, so I don't have the Windows XP disk, only the emachines disks. My computer no longer has a calculator. I tried to add it back from the add/remove section & it told me to insert my Windows XP disk. I put my emachines disk in, but it couldn't find anything. I need that calculator. Plus, my Internet Explorer icon is gone. I have Internet Explorer. I have to click "updates" for it to pull up a browser for me to use. I searched & it pulled up all of the Explorer folders, but there is no icon for a shortcut anywhere. How can I get my icon for this?

I recently got two movies, both on seperate DVDS and both NOT the original copies. both were burned from the original copy on to a DVD disc. each time I try to play the DVDs it tells me that there is no disc in drive E. im sure there is nothing wrong with the disc cuz it worked when I played it on tv. When I tried playing another movie ( original copy ) on the computer it worked properly. I have the cyberlink power DVD software on my computer. CAN ANYONE HELP?

ok i have this friend who can burn me a disk of this game. The game requires a CD key upon installation. The game is used to go on the net against others. The thing is that only one of us can be on at once cuz we got the same CD key. It is perfectly ok to create more than one account for one Cd key. Is it illegal if he burns me the disk and we share CD keys? Isn't it like borrowing except we dont have to keep giving the disks back and forth? Is it legal as long as both of us cant be on at once?

it will not shut down everytime i press the right shut down keys.it just comes back to life again. so i shut it down by switching off at the wall plug.you are not supposed to do that are you its a new computer so i know iam doing something wrong

I have this problem with my "create a new account" screen.
I accidentally typed in the wrong year of my B- Day that way I'm under 18. So it now won't let me fix my B-Day and Yahoo wants me to create a family account. I don't want a family account so what do i do?

I have a windows xp and I tryed to check the IP address but it doesnt work. I typed ipconfig and it says the process cannot be access the file because it is being used by another process. Why does it not show. Im trying to sign up in xbox live for xbox 360 and I cannot get this.How do I get it to show all the information I need?help!

I thought maybe it was my connection speed because I only had 56k. I just recently upgraded to cable but i'm still having the same problem. Now that im constantly connected to the internet my computer slows down and all programs take a while to start and when they finally come up they lag including games. My internet runs perfectly.

I have asked a question about my Movie Maker before an I only got 2 answers. Please can you help, I have an important presentation to make and I'm really stuck.

When I open my movie maker it opens for a few seconds and then a window pops up and says Windows Movie Maker has encounted a problem and needs to close. I have to click send or don't send. I've clicked send once and I was waiting 2 hrs for the error message to send I eventually clicked cancel. This happens everytime. Its been happening for the past two weeks.

Is there anyway I can get my movie maker to work or put my work onto disc I really need it. Thank You x
