Check and/or change the batteries.

Make sure there are no obstructions between the mouse and the sensor connected to your computer. You should be able to draw a straight line between the two without having to pass through any desk, books, monitors, dead cats, etc.

I have a lan and all my mice and keyboards are wireless. I started seeing problems when I first moved to this location and when it showed up on all mice, I got to thinkin radio interference! I decided to go get my old ham radio out and track it down. I found it! 2 neighbors were using CB radios to talk to each other and everytime they keyed up my mice would go banannas! Only one cure and that is to make sure the dongle or module is as close to the mouse and keyboard as possible! It seems that some of the wireless manufacturers chose 28 mhz as the frequency for their wireless desktops and this just happens to be the CB radio band!

Check batteries first.

Second check to make sure your transponder is within reach and can 'see' the mouse.

Third make sure you have the right drivers downloaded for the device you are using.
