Uh, oh.
Clicking sounds = very bad.
That means your hard disk actuator is fried. You need to buy a new hard drive, and chances are very good you will not be able to save the data off the old one.
I've heard that if you put a clicking hard drive in the freezer overnight it will work for 10-15 minutes - long enough to copy a few key files off, but I've never tried it myself.

Sounds like your Hard drive just quit. Try to reboot again and see what happens. If that don't work you'll have to replace your Hard Drive. You might try a full system restore if you have made dics or have the one or set from the manufacturer. If the system restore doesn't work you'll have to replace the hard drive and reprogarm the new hard drive. The clicking you hear is the hard drive.

Check if there is floppy disket or CD that are not bootable. If it is not, the system files in the hard drive might be corrupted.
That means you need to reinstall the Operating systems like Windows.

Your Hard drive needs to be replaced. Maybe just the boot sector is bad and you can start your computer with a boot disk or CD. Then transfer your data to a replacement drive.

Sounds like your hard drive is O U T! Thankfully they are pretty in expensive. A good way to check is to enter your BIOs and see if it is reconized.. (During boot-up hit F2 or somtimes F1 or DEL)

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
