A domain name I'm very interested in is about to expire and I would like to register it myself. The domain name is registered through Network Solutions and I've dealt with them in the past for registering other domain names. They're a tad pricey but the service has been good when I've needed it. The contact information is privacy-locked so I can't contact the registrant directly. Network Solutions offers their "Certified Offer Services" but I don't know anything about it. I'm guessing it's primary function is for when one wants to buy a domain from the current registrant.

In this case, it appears that the registrant is not going to renew. The domain technically has already expired but I believe they don't allow it to be registered by someone else for 30 days. So what's the best strategy for getting it?

Hello, I was wondering is it possible for me to order another computer instruction packet thing? Cause the place where I got my Hp Pavilion computer from didn;t give me one. - Rent a Center-.., you know the packet that comes with the instructions on how to work your computer, and it always includes the system recovery disks that allow you to reboot your computer. I came across something that is totally stumping me. I have a folder with a bunch of music files that (for instance) are named "track1.wav.mp3". I want to remove the "wav" extention and make them all "track.mp3's" I used what I thought would be the correct command but doesnt work. I can't think of how to do it to preserve the filenames without doing it one-by-one. What's the proper flags and syntax?
Guess I am a Unix newbie...

My boyfriend told me that the company he works at has like private e-mail....meaning that he can only check his e-amil at work. He works for an engineering company. Can this be true has anyone heard of not being able to check your e-amils at home?

Just got a new camera, & accidently turned it the wrong way. Their are no instructions with the camera to correct this. Their does not seem to be an option with my media player to correct this either. I would like to be able to put it online for my family to see.

Something is really wrong with my internet. Everytime I turn it on, it works for about 2 minutes (really varies on different days) then the speed changes from 54.0 mbps to 1.0 mbps. Then I have to click repair over and over again. When I try to watch youtube videos, it goes off and it takes forever to work again. My internet is wireless network: linksys_SES_11482. Also my signal strength is always at Low and Very Low. Would appreciate it if someone helped me.
