Just got a new camera, & accidently turned it the wrong way. Their are no instructions with the camera to correct this. Their does not seem to be an option with my media player to correct this either. I would like to be able to put it online for my family to see.

I did the same thing and never found video software that did the rotation. So I took still shots using the video software and turned them into photos.

Just use some type of photo program, perhaps one came with the camera, to rotate it 90 degrees in the right direction. Most cameras come with a program on a disk. Adobe photoshare is an example of such a program that will rotate pictures in 90 degree increments

There's a couple of options:

You could download and use a trial version of some video editing software to fix the problem, some software like that can be found here:

Or you can try to find a free (not cracked) version of software like this, like this:
http://www.virtualdub.org/index

I have no idea how good the latter is, if you have problems with it, you may want to go ahead and downloading the trial version of the other software (its good for 15 days) and uninstall it when you are done with it.
