I would suggest rather than deleting all the old ones, install the new one over it so you make sure you don't delete something critical to DirectX or a computer process.

While you *CAN* delete the new over the old, it might be more efficient and clean to UNINSTALL (not delete) the older version, and then install the newer one.

umm you dont want to uninstall directx files because your computer will **** up if you do so your best bet is to just download a new version and install it over the old one.
