I would never want to email anything that large.

The smart thing to do is to get a web host with a minimum of 500 mb storage and ftp services available (most all have them anyway) then send out a link (in an email) to where your 320 mb video file is. They can just download it like anything else on the Internet. If you are going to have a lot of files like that then calculate how much space you might need. If it something like batches of files you might want to zip them and up load those to the site so they can all be downloaded in one simple package.

by the way they are pretty cheap these days too so don't think you will have to pay a lot.

Also, Google has a streaming video "beta" site where you can upload approved videos and share them for free. Once again you just send out a liink. This is really pretty slick because it is free (last time I checked) AND you can stream directly off of their site. (There is a protocol required for proper streaming to happen which most sites/services do not have).

Here ya go:

First thing is e-mail is not a way to share files that are huge...

As suggested before, you can try and use rapidshare.de, megaupload.com and others... this site after upload will give you a link and then you can e-mail this link to your friend. I would suggest that both of you need to have a good connection speed and the pain in these websites is that you cannot use download managers to ease the process i.e. in the free version.

You may need to break up the files in parts in order to avoid the upload limit. For this I would suggest winrar and split the file into smaller parts based on the size you decide.

There are a couple of ways more complicated to setup but once it is set is very easy to use... Maybe this not the place to talk about that.

Happy sharing...

I do not have an account at this site but try Google. I heard as give a lot of space enough for your 320MB.
