Does anyone experience the DSL lights on modem keep blinking and the next thing you know, your connection got disconnected. What is the cause for this?

My yahoo mailbox contains an email which my anti phishing software pop up says it has blocked from receiving my credit card details!. I'm worried that someone else will open the email on another computer as it is a business account with several people having access. if they don't have the correct software, I believe credit card details may be stolen. When I try to delete the email or "spam" it I just keep getting the warning message back.
This looks very professional & want it taken out of my inbox altogether - but how?

Cust: I'm trying to connect to the Internet with your CD, but it's not working.

TECH SUPPORT: you have got the CD in the CD drive, right?

Customer: Yeah....

TS: And what sort of computer are you using?

Customer: Computer? Oh, I haven't got a computer. It's in the

Customer: "No, my desk's next to the door, but that's a very good point. The man sitting next to me is sat under a window and he is printing OK

For the last week or so, when I switch the computer on, this comes up on the main screen:

Should I be worried about anything?

i plug my headphones in my computer and no sound is coming out. the same with speakers. i opened up the computer nuthin is loose. i restart my computer and i play some music and it always stops at 6 seconds into the song. and i stops workin after that.

i just got signed up with vonage on Tuesday and every thing went fine. but i needed to forward some ports it worked fine for a couple of days. but now i am losing almost 3megs in download speed. but i get it back if i unplug my router and just run my modem. could this be the ports i forwarded or do i have a bad? router

Memory: 512MB DDR
Hard Drive: 80GB HDD
Optical Drive: CD-RW/DVD Combo Drive
Video: Intel® Extreme Graphics integrated
Sound: AC '97 audio

The win XP freezes at the logo screen during the installation.
it went through Normal Format process and setup process and when it restarts for the first time, it gets stuck.
I did research and did everything that I found that might work but
I found that nothing works...
I tired changing boot order, reinstall with full format and with other OS cds...
But I never tried updating BIOS, if you think that that is the only solution, please advise me how I can do that...
One more thing.... my computer used to work just fine on WIN PRO SP1, but the OS that I am trying to install is WIN PRO SP2... does that matter? Peace!!

I have clicked on all the "remember me on this computer" to no avail... for a year, all I had to do was open gmail, yahoo, lycos, etc., and click on sign in and voila, t'was done... now I have to remember all my various nicks and passwords and I don't wanna! the only thing I did prior to this happening was download the new MSN toolbar... I seriously don't like this! AAARGH! :) Thanks in advance for your insight and help.
