That's the best part - you never know. People become so dependent on the familiar. Imagine this - Power has just been knocked out with hurricane winds of freezing rain. What do you do? - What ever you want.
First, look for all the candles I have - then, I'd play guitar, or just listen to some music on the ipod, while laying on the couch, paint/draw, read some "how to" , rearrange my furniture, clean out the junk drawers, look through the storage, thumb through my photos, write a letter or two, play with the tarot cards, chase my dog around, use my cell phone and call the "it's been a whiles", exercise, meditate, cook, brew some tea and sleep. And when the power comes back on - maybe light another candle and forget about the switches. What I would give to never see another advertisement intermingled with more bad news - for the rest of my days. Ahhhh... - to the simpler things.

Sort out family photos ready for digital scrapbooking; read a book; sewing; crafts. As a matter of fact, I almost wish my computer wasn't working as often as it does. I don't seem to get around to do the things I want to get done :-)

Definitely read a book. Play with my dog etc. Sometimes I like to look at recipe books that I have and make something new with the ingredients that I have.
