Yes delete the history, temporary internet files and cookies from your browser : Tools, Internet Options, General tab

Click on Internet Explorer
Go to Tools
Go to Internet options
General Tab
Click on browsing history - Delete
Click on delete all
Tick "Also delete files & settings stored by add-ons"
Click Yes
Click Ok

if you are asking for your computer and you are the administrator and using windows XP/2000 then you open an internet explorer,
select >> tools >> Internet options >> Now click on the button where it says delete history and then you are done....

If you are using IE7, then tools ->Delete Browsing History
If you are using Firefox then Tools-> Clear Private Data
If you are using Opera then Tools->Clear Private Data

go to history delete days-sites-weeks accordingly

also do a quick disk cleanup and delete temp files and cookies

If you are using Windows Internet Explorer:

Left click on Tools
Left click on Internet Options
Left click on Delete Cookies
Left click on Delete Files
Left click on Clear History

Left click on OK

Close IE then reopen


If you are using Firefox:

Left click on Tools
Left click on Clear Private Data

Left click on Tools
Left click on Options
Left click on Privacy
Left click on Settings
Check all boxes including Clear private data when closing Firefox
Left click on OK button
Close Firefox then reopen.

If all else fails use My Computer, then go to

Delete cookies from here where username is your account name

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Cookies

and here

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Delete History from here where username is your account name

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\History

I use Mozilla Firefox for my "personal" browsing and run it from the Start menu. (The wife only knows about Internet Explorer and desktop icons.) ;-)
