It seems as if the Yahoo techs may be performing upgrades currently. I'm having a different problem with composing email at this time (ie: there's no active area block to type the message in). The last time this happened, the techs were upgrading the system, but didn't have the courtesy to send out an alert email indicating the system would be down. It appears that some people never learn from their previous mistakes.

can you please tell us what exactly the error you are getting while attaching your word docs to yahoo,
just check these..
1- are you sure you are attaching word docs(your files extension should be .doc)?
2- is your computer infected with virus
