Imm trying to find my wep key to set up my animal crossing ds.
I have 2wire, i heard its under the box, where at? I dont think I see it. How would I find it going through my computer manually? I have a dell. I found it once before and saved it but it changed I guess and its wrong. I dont remeber how I found it last.

I also get an error sometimes when I open "my computer." It says windows explorer has encountered an error and needs to close (or firefox has ...). When I view the details on the error report it has something to do with a temp file but when I go to get rid of it in the temp file I have actually seen the file disappear. ALSO sometimes something comes up about "Dr. Watson Postmortem Debugger." Is this a virus? It is all really frustrating ... when I can't save a big group of pictures and such to my computer without having to reopen firefox a million times. I'd appreciate any help you can give!

I have an older computer that only alows me to use dial up on.....i swear i think this computer was made way before dsl was ever thought of......my question is.....is there any kind of an adapter i can buy so i can use dsl insted of dial up ?

I have never used any video editing software and was going to start by trying to use windows movie maker. I don't know how to connect the vcr to the pc. Is there a standard usb to av wire connection cable that I need for windows to recognize my vcr or camcorder. It is an analog camcorder. Is it better to buy different software that comes with the physical connection hardware? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm interested in transferring analog video from vcr/camcorder to dvd and also editing (making highlights from transferred video).

I have this computer game that I want to play. It is called Hard Truck 2. It is a simulated game, and the viewpoint is of inside the truck when I am driving. The problem is that there are lines going through the screen. Not all of the screen, but parts of it. They are going through the windshield, sky and some other parts of the game view. What is the problem here? NOTE, no other games do this on my computer.

I want to lower the days my pages are kept in my history, but every time I click the lower button the numbers jump all over. If I push Apply, no matter what the number says, it lowers by one day. WTH is going on???? WIERD

I use Microsoft Windows XP, When I turn on my computer it tells me to either chose to use safe mode, last preference that worked correctly, or start windows normally. Whatever I choose, the computer restarts and goes back to the same menu again. How do I resolve this?

k so i work ALOT on my computer...im constantly adding stuff to it and installing junk and downloading....when i feel the need to clean out some stuff, i clean alot out....and then it gets replaced with other junk lol...but the thing is that either way, its still gong alittle slower than when it was when i reformatted it..you know that fresh restart with that quick reboot and stuff....i no i wont be able to achieve that but at least close to something like that...ive done defrags and they only last acouple days AT MOST hehe...i clean my computer of spyware and viruses enough so that i dont have problems with those....can anyone suggest anything eslse? i have 768 ram..i dont really plan on buying anymore unless i get vista (which most likely wont) or if i do major hardware changes to my comp...any suggestions?

My computer seems to be running extremly slow lately. I've scaned it for viruses and malware and everything seems to be in check. I've got Chater security suite, I run Adware, and I also have Winpatrol running in the background which is suppose to alert me of any changes in my start up etc. I need some advice from someone who knows a little about computers. All I know is that when I backup DVD's with 1 click copy pro and AnyDVD ,a process that a few weeks ago took only 30-45 Minutes to do ,now takes twice as long (2 hours sometimes). Also when I listen to music on itunes ,the sound comes out real slow and destorted and the person who's singing the song sounds like they're about to fall over dead (lol). Even right this second, When I open up the "Windows Task Manager" ,I see that 46 processes are running and I'm not sure what all of them are or even need to be running ,cause I know I don't have that many programs open right now. It should only show about 5 at most! PLEASE HELP!

My wireless card boots my pc and will not let it shut down.
It as been suggested that my bios as been set to wake on lan but i cannot find wake on lan in my advanced bios features.

Can anybody help as i am desperate to solve this problem before it damages my computer
