i have just discovered a excellent diagnostic tool which does various tasks including spyware scan, registry scan and deletes temp files among many others
download advanced windowscare v2 personal from http://iobit.com/AdvancedWindowsCarePersonal/download.htm,and install it,this will fix your p.c from all junk thats built up on it over the months, this is totally safe as i wont touch anything thats not been scanned
also downlaod and install si-soft sandra lite (http://www.sisoftware.net/index.html?dir=news&location=2007_release&langx=en&a=),this is probally the best diagnostic software windows uses,it has almost every bit of info you will need to fix or tweak your system from clock speed ,memory info, full graphic card info and even your windows product key,a defenite must for your desktop
use these two and no other software will be required
good luck

If they say download it, then you dont need to buy it. Log onto Microsoft and google diagnostic tool, there is a link for it on there.

Maybe you should ask Microsoft what (name of) Diagnostic Tool and where to get it (or download it).

You need a second opinion. What is wrong with your computer and why are you doing this? Leave it alone or you will really screw up your computer. When you are starting, hit f8 and have the disc checked if you think your disc is damaged.

If you have to ask this, you really shouldn't be trying to use a computer diagnostic software utility.

When you say "Microsoft suggests", what do you mean? Did a box pop-up while you were browsing the internet? If yes, please ignore it, it's spam.
