try its not giving me that option I have a empty CD in drive D it wont even work in E drive . It will only allow me to send to my floppy/documents etc , I don't use the A drive anymore to save documents / programs , can anyone tell me whats up, any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

I'm starting freshman year, I need a laptop with Internet, all the microsoft jadgets, and I need it to be FAST.

I don't want it to be too expensive because I have to pay half, and it's probably better for it to be a laptop.

i have a dell inspiron 6000 and up until a couple of days ago there was no problems.but now when there is a disk in the drive it says that there is no disk. my sis told me to run the virus software which i did and it said there was no virus. any other suggestions?

The movie company I'm signed up with doesn't let me what movies. Something to do with can't locate media file. Computer company said that the movie company needs to help me with the problem. The email I got from movie company said , first, about how many firewalls do I have..... so I'm going down the list, step by step. Not computer savy at all, and experiencing much tech. problems. Please help- anyone more knowledgeable than me and also, please, use step by step instructions, because I'm just learning, 2 months on the internet.

I have office 2003 on windows xp home on one partition. On the other partition I have XP Pro. I have lost the CD and want to use Office on XP Pro. I can access it from program files but when a program opens (for example Word) an error message comes up that says "this program is not installed for this user". It is really frustrating because it is on the computer, but I can't use it!

I have a server with 160GB HD usb plug into 1.1 port for backups

when i try to copy large files, maximum 40GB, server stops working properly and need to be restarted

any suggestions to fix this problem?

It turns its-self off for no reason!! It sometimes starts off...but usually turns off after the disk cheack during start up
either that or on the rare occasion it starts up it freezes
or the screen goes stupid!!
