If you're talking about in the actual search bar which will often pull up past search criteria simply by you hitting one or two letters, you can delete all that manually. If you referring to cookies, past web addresses you've accessed etc, click on (see tool bar at the top of the page) -
Tools
Internet Options
(Under Temporary Internet Files) hit "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies"
(Under History) hit "Clear History"

That should do it. : )

Remove Search History From Internet Explorer:
1. Open up the Browser
2. Click Tools at the top of your screen, then Internet Options
3. Click on the Content tab.
4. Under Personal information, click on the AutoComplete box.
5. On the AutoComplete Settings window click the Clear Forms box to delete your current history
6. You can uncheck the Forms box to permanently stop the generation of the search history.
7. Close browser and re-open


To clear searches on Yahoo Toolbar:
1. Click the pencil icon beside the search box, a menu will drop down
2. Click "Clear Recent Searches".
3. If you want to stop saving recent searches, click Toolbar Options and uncheck "Enable Search History",
or check "Auto-clear Search History when quitting IE" to clear history when you close your Internet connection.


To clear searches on Google Toolbar
1. Click on the 'Google' logo to access the drop-down menu.
2. Select the 'Clear Search History' option. This will clear all the previous searches from the drop-down box.


Remove the web site history that you have visited stored on your computer (IE):
1. Open up the Browser
2. Click Tools at the top of your screen, then Internet Options
3. Click "Clear History" "Delete Files" "Delete Cookies"

There is several parts to this.
Clearing the history toolbar. click on tools Internet options and clear history.

Clearing auto complete.
Click on tools Internet options, content auto-complete in here you can clear it or even just turn it off.

If you want to go further than this you can clear cookies and temp Internet files. tools Internet options delete files, delete cookies. Also there is a setting here that can stop them from being created which is setting then set to 1MB this is big enough to get things working but contently clearing its self.

Also if you want to go to this level why not just setup another account and get who ever to use that.

on google home page, scroll over the search that u want to delete (so it is highlighted) and press delete. or todelete em all highlight the first item and hold down delete and it will clear em all from the google search

1. Make sure you have logged off from your google account.
2. Delete google cookies from your computer before you hit any google service.

Find the button that says "clear recent searches".

Or, if you can't find that button, empty your cache, erase your cookies, and delete your history.

Hi Keith

Go to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/HISTORY TAKE IT DOWN TO 0 AND CLEAR HISTORY. ALSO IN TEMP FILES IN THE MIDDLE CLICK ON LEFT AND CENTRE BOXES. HELPS CLEAR UP TEMP FILES.
