I have office 2003 on windows xp home on one partition. On the other partition I have XP Pro. I have lost the CD and want to use Office on XP Pro. I can access it from program files but when a program opens (for example Word) an error message comes up that says "this program is not installed for this user". It is really frustrating because it is on the computer, but I can't use it!

u should be looking for backup software to copy(perhaps u'll have to create bootable disk for office, but software advised below is able to do that) ur Xp office files to another partition. it should work.
as for software i'd recommend this one.

I wonder if the second partition is bootable. It looks like two hard drives to me except that the other is a slave to the primary hard drive. The immediate solution I'd recommend is to create a desktop shortcut for the Office Programs (right click, send to desktop) so that when you click on the icons, you know that it is your preferred Office programs running.

No, I do not think it is possible. You will have to boot into the OS where you have installed the program.
