What's the difference in Retail over OEM?

Is Retail bettter than OEM? Is it warrranted longer? Is OEM inferior product? What the deal?

There's less than $10 in the prices of Retail and OEM hardware (like a hard drive)...and software (like Windows XP).

What's the difference since the price is so close?

Should I buy OEM to save a few bucks? Is it worth it?

Isn't illegal or something get people to hack into accounts because a friend is getting a friend to hack into accounts because of a recent problem we are having with her plus she has been hararrassing myself and other people and telling lies that aren't true. Isn't harassing a crime or something? How can this be reported because I never delt with this kind of thing before? I don't want to report her but this has really gone too far. Thanks for your help.

Often times when I am on the computer, the mouse will freeze for a sec, it is usually worse and instead of freezing, it will click, move somewhere and scroll, and maybe click again all in half a second.
Sometimes it get's REALLY BAD and will continue clicking and flying at light speed all over the screen opening up stuff and x-ing out what I am doing. And twice tonight (a new record) I have had to restart the computer because it permanently froze into postition and wouldn't move.
My mouse is fully plugged in, the dust has been cleaned out many times, and this is really annoying when I am playing a video game and making me shoot teammates and getting shot.
Can anyone help?

I am re-inslalnig my sims 2 game. I have followed all the dirctions and then this pops up- The sims 2 will inslal an adidaniol 324 MB of data on drive c. Please make sure there is enough free space then click ok. After I read that I click ok and nothing. What is wrong and what can I do 2 fix it? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Here's what I need.

- Lightweight
- Long Battery Life
- VERY simple. I don't play games or watch movies. Just for typing and internet.
- Something that won't overheat in 2 minutes. My current laptop does that too often for one's personal contentment.
- Cheaper, the better.
- Would prefer if you could PERSONALLY say you have tried it.

Ok I 512MB of ram in my laptop. How many MB are in a one G? I heard 1G of ram is good. I was just wondering how much it might cost to get 1G in my laptop. Lol if that makes any sense at all! port is missing. I have checked the USB cable and the power cord. I have tried everything I know to do. It might help if I knew what a "file name" is or what I am supposed to type in for the "path." No one has ever explained this to me. I am 79 years old and am just trying to understand what is going on with a computer. I have had a printer before but a part broke off of it and the co. had to send me another and I am having trouble getting the printer to work. Does anyone out there have any advice for me?
