goggle earth is a program you can download for free. It can show you maps of locations. You can get detailed these satellite maps as detailed as you want. It's a nice program and best of all FREE

It's a satellite photo of the earth, you can scroll around in and zoom in and out.
Never been to the site, but it's linked to a map site I use.
Once I get what I want on the map, I can hit the google earth link and see it in photo from above.

It's brilliant! Put in your post code and you will have a picture of the outside of you house or your drive way. We reckon that the pics may be a few years out of date - but you can still tell!
My Dad lives in Oz. Put my address in and his address in - and you are taken off in to space and land back at the desired location. A brilliant teaching tool for the kids - and great fun for adults - try it!

Its a free download, Go for it I did and love it, It lets you zoom in on any place on earth, any town, any street, any house, you can see in 3d as well. I visited pictorially places I remember from years ago - what an experience to see them now developed.

Using satelite photography and 3d graphics, you can zoom right in to the place you want to see and also navigate around the world like a globe.
