I can't find the specific name of the motherboard in the BIOS settings or in the hardware - device manager setup in windows

My computer regularly tells me that my system is low on virtual memory. I have plenty of free space on my hard drive, so that's not the problem.
Q1: - What's virtual memory? Q2: - what action, if any, should I take?

Every time i start my PC, the sound drive is not installed soo i can NOT listen too any music, Then i install the sound driver and it works fine UNTIL i restart my computer, Any ideas?

I found an old PC with various bits in it, and decided to upgrade mine from a P1 150Mhz. The newer motherboard was fried so I missed out on a lot. I'm now looking for a replacement for it but i'm not comfortable with ebay. No computer shops or websites seem to do old equipment, so I'm pulling my hair out. please help me.

If I had two systems set up side by side exactly the same except one motherboard was a slightly later model that supported AGP 8x, and the other only went up to 4x, with an identical card, how noticeable do you think the performance increase with the 8x over the 4x would be?
