Unlike the people who just threw out opinions, I actually looked at both cards and I would give the edge to the ATI, has a higher clock speed, most other things are about equal, I couldn't compare them head to head, but the X1300 did out benchmark a 7300GS and since GS is better than LE, I would say the ATI would be the best.

The Ati Radeon X1300 Pro.
Turbocache, as far as I know uses system memory, instead of the card memory, so it'll be a bit slower.
But if you're just Photoshopping a much much cheaper one will do too.

I will go for the nVidia. Since you're going to use Photoshop and Illustrator make sure you have ample RAM as both softwares are need a lot of RAM.
BTW, the price difference between a 256 and 512 really no longer than big.

Get an ATI All-in-Wonder. It's better for video/multimedia work and may be cheaper than the gaming counterparts.

Go with the 256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE TurboCache. I've had nVidia in the past and it has worked wonders for me.
