my processor is AMD Sempron 3000+ 64-bit and my board is
Biostar Redfox Nforce3 250; with a chipset of Nforce3 250

I looked at them and they are very close, I would honestly say go with whichever one is cheaper since they are very very close, plus since your chipset is nVidia you might wanna get nVidia card, but really they are almost equal.

neither card, get a Nvidia FX 5600 or an ATI 9600.

the models you have mentioned are scaled down models and not worth buying. see that you buy at least a 128 bit card as well.

get the nVidia. they run at 128k proccessing rates as opposed to the ATIs that run at 64k. obviously the 128 is better. for a comp that fast you might want to get a DVI card a new monitor.

Depends on yr budget,i would recommend FX5500 .its affordable entry-level VGA.im using it on a PIII cpu to play P4 games and its performance is satisfactory and stable too..
