I found an old PC with various bits in it, and decided to upgrade mine from a P1 150Mhz. The newer motherboard was fried so I missed out on a lot. I'm now looking for a replacement for it but i'm not comfortable with ebay. No computer shops or websites seem to do old equipment, so I'm pulling my hair out. please help me.

Well unfortunately the situation you described screams eBay. For old equipment you are probably gonna have to buy from an individual, so it is either garage sales, the classifieds or eBay.

On Ebay I've seen a 500 mhz Dell Optiplex Case and Mobo for something like $30. They have on board sound and video. Some may even come with a processor and if not I imagine you can find one for pretty cheap.

Just looked for you, by the way and saw one I would probably snatch up if one of my 2 low end pc's were to give out.
