My S key just fell off of my laptop keyboard. I tried popping it back into place, but there are like two little white plastic things on the back, and i cant figure them out. Is there an easy way to do this?

I took it into the Apple Store and left it for servicing. I got it back and works fine, but the paperwork says they just ran a dynastic and could not find anything wrong. Is it possible they did fix something, but for some reason do not want to say? It use to heat up quite hot, but now is just gets warm (The under side). Any thoughts?

Hello Friendly knowledgeable ones,
I am out to find a new laptop. I have limited funds to purchase this laptop, so, like most, I'm always out to save some money. I've spent some time searching about computers and finally understand what everything means, I think. This is what I've got,
1. RAM: It's good to have one or two GB of RAM to access memory with speed, but RAM can always be increased with cheap upgrades.
2. Hard Drive: It's good to have a large hard drive to store memory. For me, I don't need a whole lot. I don't play video games, and I don't download movies. I think 60/80 GB. And they can be increased right? (am I on the right track...?)

But the third spec, Processors, baffles me. I now know that the Intel Core 2 Duo is the best, because it uses the two processors to work harmoniously (???), but is it necessary for me? I'll only be using this computer for essays and the internet and youtube, do I really need a Core 2 duo? What about the dual? or pentium? or even the Centrino?

I would like it to be the cheapest it can be, because I am only young and will be paying for this entirely myself. I would like a gaming laptop, since the soul purpous of me getting one is so that I can play the games that do not work on my computer.
It dosen't have to have a TON of memory just enough to store the actaual capcity that the games will take, so around 256MB RAM. The hard drive should be around 3.5GB and a windows XP. Thanks x

I am looking for a laptop for my 12 year old - simple email, IM, internet and some homework. Staples has HP Compaq Presario C712US Intel Pentium Dual Core T 2310 - for $349.98 or Dell Vostro 1000 - AMD Athlon TM 64 x 2 Dual Core TK -53 for $399. Is Vostro good for personal use? If Dell is better choice - should I go with Windows XP or Vista? Remember I'm looking for a 12 year old!

I have an extra monitor, a printer and a set of speakers currently connected to the laptop, but it would be nice to streamline all this into a docking station so that I don't have to unplug it all when I take the laptop on the go.

I have a Toshiba Satellite M70 laptop. I found a virus in my system few days ago and i cant get rid of it... I cant use the internet (im writing this from my PC, not the laptop), lets say i pretty much cannot do anything. So, what i m planning to do is to restart my whole software, get it like it was the way it was the first time...
So, are there some procedures i need to follow,

OR HOW DO I RESTORE MY COMPUTER?
OS - Windows XP.

Yea, so the problem started after re-installing windows vista home premium (32 bit) on my dell inspiron 1420, because i was a fool and messed with a buncha settings, so it was easier to reinstall, so i reinstalled everything, including drivers, but i tried to burn a CD my CDR drive didn't appear instead it appeared as a DVD drive (it's both) but it won't recognize it as a CDR, what do i do?

I bought a Toshiba Satellite L45. I was wondering if it comes with a 4-cell battery or a 6-cell battery? (I will give 10 points to the FIRST CORRECT answer) :)
