is macbook battery last longer or other types of laptop?
i kno that HP laptop battery is good for a few months then it started to suck (i hav HP pavilion dv4000)

Hi. Any laptop battery has a limited number of recharge cycles. Depending on how you use and handle them, six months to two years is a good lifetime.

mac book batteries do last longer but thats only because they have smaller screes which draw less power then the hp dv1000 series (I have a dv6000). It would also help if the dv1000's came with 12 cell lithium ion bats instead of the 6 cell.

the bigger amount of volts/v that there is a battery the longer the life of the battery will last. unless it is a crappy computer.

life of rechargeable batteries depends on how u recharge. periodically it should be allowed to drain fully b4 recharging.
