Regret to tell you but I doubt it can be improved eventhough Intel says there's a workaround.

Firstly, although it says 128mb shared graphic it's very unlikely for it to reach that level, worse if only a gig or less memory is installed regardless of the settings in the setup. Secondly, harddrive type and speed also play an important factor when you have an onboard video card. You will need a SATA hdd in this case to be able to cope with the speed requirement of the games but still no guarantee.

One more thing, the card reader has no functions other than reading memory cards and has nothing to do with video performance.

What you want is so easy to do on a desktop PC but almost impossible on laptops. There are NO retail graphics cards for laptops.
Your Acer 5633 has a Geforce Go 7300 TC dedicated graphics card with 128Mb video RAM. It uses Turbocache technology, thus capable of further sharing another 128Mb from system RAM. If you are using Vista, better increase RAM to 2Gb.

If graphics upgrade is possible on your laptop, it could only be through a proprietary card from Acer.

The only thing you can try is to increase the shared video memory to the higest allowed (usually 128 or 256). other than that you can not upgrade the graphics card in that laptop
