amd is more power efficient and runs cooler, intel is ridiculously overpriced and not any better.

Intel core 2 duo.

Uses less power, so it puts out less heat. It also will out perform an AMD cpu that has the same clock speed.

Intel > AMD

"amd is more power efficient and runs cooler, intel is ridiculously overpriced and not any better."

Nope, check out Maximum PCs head to head edition (its on maximumpc.com under the PDF section for free). They compaired an AMD and Intel CPU and Intel won in just about everything.

Granted Intels are more expensive, but isnt it a bit suspicious that an AMD dual core cpu cost $65 when an Intel one cost about $120?? AMD doesnt have the money to cut its profit that much, can you say slow CPUs over clocked at the factory to make them seem faster for less money? I can, and so can every other person who knows computers.

I love the internet. A trusted source of reliable opinion.
First two answers:

1. amd is more power efficient and runs cooler, intel is ridiculously overpriced and not any better.

2. Intel core 2 duo. Uses less power, so it puts out less heat. It also will out perform an AMD cpu that has the same clock speed.

Take your pick!
