What series? Will be used for gaming, need at least 2GB of memory, a reasonably fast processor, WIFI enabled and all for under £800!!!!!

I had a Sony vaio laptop and it was very noisy. After about 2 months the fan would always be working at top speed trying to keep the computer cool.
It was a very common problem with their laptops.

can't help you on the model to choose, but i was just researching laptops before i bought mine a few months ago and i can tell you sony vaio is very well rated for reliability - which should be a primary consideration.

VAIO® NR Series Notebook check this one out its about $50 more but i think for gaming this will do but alienware is good but expensive you should enjoy the vaio. Good Luck!

Expensive laptops for business, multimedia, HD video and casual gaming. 3D gaming capability is not yet comparable with the gaming laptops of Alienware and Dell.
